QR Codes

Community centres and village halls must collect information for all activities and events taking place within the venue.

This should be collected by the person who hires the space. The venue must display an official NHS QR code poster which can be used for every activity that takes place there.

I’m really pleased to note that the Government Webpage dedicated to the safe use of community facilities has also been updated this week. So for more guidance on QR codes and advice on opening please visit:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-for-the-safe-use-of-multi-purpose-community-facilities/covid-19-guidance-for-the-safe-use-of-multi-purpose-community-facilities

This is a question that has also been raised through our national network so ACRE may release more information as well, so watch this space!

Today is my last day with YMCA Lincolnshire so I wish you and your committee all the best, I’m signing off now and handing over to my colleague Janet. If you didn’t see our latest newsletter you can view this here.
